It's All About The Music...

I love music. I usually listen to it all the time - at work, at home, at the gym, in the car - all except when I'm sleeping. I don't go to a lot of concerts because I'd rather spend that $60 on CDs than on a one time thing.  Don't get me wrong, I enjoy some concerts - especially if they are a special occasion - but for the most part, I don't go to them all that often anymore. And that $60 bucks has resulted in why I have a collection of CDs that's getting close to 1000.

I'll listen to pretty much EVERYTHING but there are some that I like better than others as you'll tell by my reviews below.  But yes... I'll even listen to country and some rap.

~ Nine Inch Nails - With Teeth:   I have loved NIN for over ten years ... since Pretty Hate Machine came out.  I love Trent Reznor and would probably beg to become his love slave given the chance. I've followed him through his trials and tribulations ... the drugs, the heartaches and it's really interesting when he comes out with a new album.  You can get a sense what's going on with his life in a way.  (Or that's what I think)  With Teeth is so varied.  SOOO varied.   You have something like the first release, The Hand that Feeds and then you have a track like Only.  WOW.  No one can say he's not diversified.  It's an album that will grow on you ... definitely not like Broken or Pretty Hate Machine which you love right from the first listen.  But I've listened to it a few times now and can definitely say, Trent hasn't lost his touch. Now if only I could get him to touch me.
