January 25, 2005:
Wow. So for the first time in a long time, I'm actually getting money
back from the IRS and State! Whoo hoo! Any extra money is a good thing
because I'm getting rid of this debt... will be great to be free. We're
having a meeting later about our company too ... there is a good
possibility about it going public or getting sold within the next few
months. I had talked to the CEO earlier about stock since I was kinda
new at it ... he was very cool and laid it all out for me. Now I just
need to get the 30K together for the stock and if all works out, I
might be sitting pretty financially. Yay!
Work is going pretty
well again. Projects are starting to finish up and new projects coming
on board. It's going to be a busy year. There is talk about me heading
out to Chicago and Dallas for some testing ... that'll be interesting
because I've never traveled for work before. Should be an experience.
Other
than that, things are going pretty well. I've been commissioned to do a
renaissance gown for a friend of mine, which should be fun. Although
I've been dabbling in sewing over the winter, I haven't done a big
piece in a long time. I need more hobbies away from the computer ....
although I enjoy being on the computer, playing video games and writing
(which is also going really well right now) ... I need to get away from
it. I'm getting headaches more often which totally sucks.
Still
doing some research on violin lessons ... can't believe how expensive
violins are! Maybe I'll do a rental or something for the first few
months and then plunk down the cash for my own.
Damn... I didn't realize how tired I was. I'm totally rambling! . Oh well... it's just drivel.
